The CrossFit model for business is simple: do whatever it takes to take care of the client. Don't focus on marketing, sales, advertising, or anything else that forces the CrossFit gym owners to deviate from providing top quality training for their CrossFitters. This model is contrary to almost every piece of business advice out there, but it works. To that end, we'll continue to focus our efforts on our CrossFitters who want quality training and who push themselves to achieve elite fitness. Bottom line is train hard, or go home. We don't want to take anyone's money who isn't willing to put out 100%.
In an effort to improve our service to our CrossFitters, we'll soon open a larger space on the corner of Friendship Road and Worcester Highway near Berlin. We'll have more bars and rowers than we do now, plus all the other stuff you find in our garage gym. Now, we'll be able to hold more classes with a few more people in each class with the room to handle it all!
Here's an interview with Coach Greg Glassman, founder of CrossFit. BNN, Canada's Business News Network, conducted the interview to get a firsthand account from Coach on some insights into the CrossFit business model. Click HERE to view.
