We didn't get to where we are without thousands of years of eating right and living very hard lives. Hunter gatherers who ate well and took care of themselves lived a relatively long life free of many of the diseases plaguing man today. Researchers suggest that until high quantities of sugar and an overabundance of carbohydrates entered our diets, there was very little cancer and virtually no heart disease and diabetes. Now, hyperinsulinemia has risen to such epidemic proportions that our children will most likely be the first generation to NOT outlive their parents. I'm not sure about you, but this causes me great concern. So, what to do about it? Educate yourself, eat right, and workout hard. Commit to the Spring Challenge and take the next step to a better way of living. Check back tomorrow for the details.
